My background is in Sales and Marketing having held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing, VP Sales and CEO. I am a local, born and raised in Victoria, have a 24 yr old daughter and a home in Royal Oak. I am an active individual, sometimes to a fault, and enjoy most activities that include an element of adventure. ‘
What I truly enjoy about the insurance business is the personal and business relationships I build with my clients and the peace of mind I get knowing that I provide solutions that can change lives for the better, at a time when people need it the most. That’s powerful, more often than not clients become longtime friends.
My approach when working with prospects and clients is to begin with a review of their current plans, assess changes in the business, if any, and offer solutions that are tailor made for the client, one that fits their budget.
As an Independent Advisor I work with all the Insurance Carriers which gives me the flexibility to propose the best carrier, with the best solutions for the best value in a way that is easy to read and understand when making comparisons from one plan to another.
My Story
Alex Cook could be described as an active business man, professional sales executive, family man and an adventure enthusiast. His career spans over 30 years in Sales and Marketing starting with Sun Life Insurance at the age of 21. At 24 He was offered a position as Director of Sales and Marketing with a well established local organization where he remained top executive for 16 years. In 2015 he became certified as an Independent Financial Advisor, while at the same time becoming a co-founder and CEO of a tech start up company. One of his most proud personal accomplishments was founding and creating the 1st ever Victoria Movember Committee where he remained the chair of the local fundraising chapter for 4 years
